Patterson is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to join our Animal Health team. You will work with veterinarians and internal teams in a people-first, results-driven culture that values growth. This role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and safe dispensing in a warehouse environment.

No weekends, no evenings, no holidays. Experience in veterinary pharmacy is a plus, and you will mentor staff while collaborating with sales and leadership to maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited school of pharmacy
• Good computer skills with various applications
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience
• Attention to detail with ability to problem solve effectively
• Demonstrated success in prioritizing and time-management
• Superior service-orientation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated and an independent, accountable, dependent performer
• Current state Board of Pharmacy license with the ability to obtain reciprocal licenses in other states
• Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English

Responsibilities

• Ensure all prescriptions dispensed meet all federal, state and local regulatory requirements
• Provide constructive feedback to maintain safe and efficient prescription processing
• Validate accuracy of all prescriptions and follow up on any discrepancies in the prescription filling process
• Maintain secure, clean and safe pharmacy/warehouse
