Job summary

College of Southern Nevada seeks a Part-time Instructor for Veterinary Nursing to teach didactic courses, supervise clinical rotations, and perform clinic duties in the CSN Veterinary Nursing Teaching Clinic.

The role requires maintaining student records, staying current in veterinary medicine, and supporting accreditation efforts while participating in college-wide committees. Teaching may occur across multiple campuses with day, evening, or weekend classes.

Qualifications

• DVM, or BS in Veterinary Technology/Nursing, or AS in veterinary tech/nursing.
• Currently licensed as a veterinarian or NV veterinary technician.
• Two years of professional clinical or academic experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise students as needed.
• Instruct veterinary didactic courses, laboratories and supervise clinical rotations.
• Perform clinical duties in the CSN Veterinary Nursing Teaching Clinic.
• Maintain student records (grades, attendance, exams, assignments, competencies).
• Participate in AVMA-CVTEA accreditation activities and committees.
• Assignments may be multi-campus with day, evening, and/or weekend classes.
