Job summary

College of Southern Nevada seeks an Part-Time Instructor in Veterinary Nursing for FY 2027 to teach didactic courses and laboratories, supervise clinical rotations, and support campus scheduling. Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or relevant degree with Nevada license or eligible.
• Current Nevada veterinary license or veterinary technician license (NV).
• Two years of professional experience in clinical practice or academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Advise students as needed and instruct didactic courses and laboratories.
• Supervise students on clinical rotations as assigned by the Program Director.
• Perform clinical duties in the CSN Veterinary Nursing Teaching Clinic and maintain student records.
• Engage in continuing professional development to stay current.
• Participate in AVMA-CVTEA accreditation activities and college committees.
• Support multi-campus scheduling including day, evening, or weekend classes.
• Contribute to curriculum development and service to the institution and community.
