Job summary

PetVet Care Centers Westside Animal Emergency Clinic in Lithia Springs, Georgia, is seeking a part-time Care Coordinator to join our after-hours emergency team. This role focuses on administrative support, customer service, and coordinating care for urgent pet needs in a fast-paced hospital environment.

You will handle lobby management, scheduling, data entry in the practice management system, basic pet care communications, and assist with billing, payments, and product inquiries.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in a veterinary hospital/clinic for at least 6 months.
• Proficient in customer service and using practice management software.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent in-person and phone customer service.
• Manage lobby flow and schedule appointments.
• Assist with basic medical emergencies for pets and owners.
• Handle medication pickups and inquiries about services/products.
• Input and manage data in the practice management software, including billing.
• Assist with retail sales and maintain records.
• Reconcile cash drawer and perform end-of-day duties.
