Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Mays Landing, NJ. In this role you will serve and safeguard clients, monitor access, and perform patrols at a utility location while maintaining a visible security presence.

This driving position offers a flexible part-time schedule with shifts like Tue/Wed nights, a pay rate of $18.00 per hour, and the chance to develop customer service and security skills through our training and shift-claim platform.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as per policy.
• Driver license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor and contractor entry/exit activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, notifying site contacts and responders as needed.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols, observations, incidents, and security activities and communicate them to supervision and site representatives.
