Job summary

Allied Universal in Sewell, NJ seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Patrol Driver to provide reliable, flexible security coverage at the assigned site. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra hours through the scheduling platform, supporting a path toward full-time opportunities.

The position emphasizes customer service, incident response, and detailed reporting, with a base pay of $18.54 per hour and a commitment to safety and compliance across shifts.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and community members by carrying out security-related procedures and response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate per established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of parks, facilities, trails, parking areas, buildings, and surrounding perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas, provide directions and information to visitors, and report observed maintenance or safety concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and related observations.
