Job summary

Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services in Newton, NJ is seeking a Van Driver to support the Sussex Partial Care program. This per diem role requires organizing and providing transportation for service recipients, with Monday–Friday hours and split shifts (7:30–9:30am and 2:45–4:45pm).

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, experience driving large vans, and the ability to relate well to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of roadside emergencies.
• Familiarity with maps and GPS platforms to plan routes.

Responsibilities

• Organize and provide transportation for service recipients to the Partial Care program.
• Communicate transportation availability and coordinate referrals.
• Set up the weekly passenger transportation list.
• Plan routes for pick up and drop off of clients.
• Provide transportation to and from Bridgeway Partial Care.
• Safely park and lock the vehicle when not in use.
• Maintain time and mileage records.
• Track transportation logs for persons served.
• Attend monthly supervision and team meetings as assigned.
