Aultman Health Foundation in North Canton, OH seeks a Part-Time Urgent Care Physician to provide medical care for patients aged 0-17 and adults. You will perform examinations, treat acute illnesses, perform procedures (suturing, ear irrigation, splinting) and prescribe treatments within scope, while maintaining high-quality, cost-effective care.

The role requires medical license in Ohio, board certification, and the ability to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted medical license to practice in Ohio.
• Board certified and maintain certification; if eligible, complete within two years.
• Maintain medical liability insurance as required.
• Continuing medical education as required by the carrier.
• Demonstrates proficiency in medical care, knowledge and skills.
• Proficient in computer systems and EMR documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, with flexibility and teamwork.
• Professional conduct in the clinical setting.
• Ability to make independent care decisions and prioritize workload.
• Strong clinical skills with suturing, splinting, ear irrigation, I&D.
• Family Practice/Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical medicine services for urgent care patients 0-17 and adults.
• Perform health assessments, manage acute illnesses, and procedures as needed.
• Prescribe pharmaceuticals and coordinate care with nursing staff.
• Direct and coordinate patient care activities of staff as required.
• Document accurately in the EMR and ensure timely data entry.
• Educate patients on disease diagnosis, treatment, management and prevention.
• Promote infection control and HIPAA privacy compliance.
• Participate in planning programs and health policy development as needed.
