The Living Room at The Admiral in Mobile, AL, part of Avocet Hospitality Group, seeks an enthusiastic, upscale bartender for a part-time role. You will craft classic and creative cocktails, deliver guest-focused service, and maintain a polished bar.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of bartending experience, be at least 21 with required certifications, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Flexible scheduling including afternoons, late nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience ( upscale or fine dining preferred).
• Must be at least 21 years old with a Mobile County Beverage/Food Handler's certification.
• Positive, upbeat personality with the ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety, garnishing, and understanding ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Mixology Mastery: Build, shake, and stir classic and creative craft cocktails; maintain expert knowledge of spirits, wine, and local craft beers.
• Guest Connection: Create unique experiences through storytelling and personalized recommendations.
• The Setup: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar; prepare garnishes and manage inventory.
• Operational Excellence: Execute flawless cash handling; adhere to state alcohol service guidelines; master POS systems.
