The Living Room at The Admiral in Mobile, AL, part of Avocet Hospitality Group, is seeking an enthusiastic part-time bartender who views mixology as an art form and guest service as a performance.

Join a fast-paced, upscale venue where you will craft signature cocktails, connect with guests through storytelling, maintain a clean, stocked bar, and uphold alcohol-service guidelines while supporting a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Experienced: Minimum 1 year of bartending experience (upscale or fine dining preferred).
• Certified: Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Mobile County Health Department Beverage/Food Handler's certification.
• Dynamic: A positive, upbeat personality with the ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining extreme attention to detail.
• Knowledgeable: Well-versed in food safety, proper garnishing, and the "why" behind every ingredient.
• Resilient: Able to stand/walk for an 8-hour shift, lift up to 75 lbs (kegs/cases), and work a flexible schedule including afternoons, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Role
As a Bartender at the Living Room, you are the face of our beverage program, balancing technical precision with warm, engaging hospitality.
Key Responsibilities

• Mixology Mastery: Build, shake, and stir classic and creative craft cocktails; maintain an expert knowledge of spirits, wine, and local craft beers.
• Guest Connection: Create unique experiences through storytelling and personalized recommendations in a warm, professional manner.
• The Setup: Maintain a meticulously clean, organized, and well-stocked bar; prepare fresh garnishes and manage inventory levels.
• Operational Excellence: Execute flawless cash handling, adhere to all state alcohol service (TIPS) guidelines, and master our POS systems.

Who You Are
