As a Bartender at the Living Room, you are the face of our beverage program, balancing technical precision with warm, engaging hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Mixology Mastery: Build, shake, and stir classic and creative craft cocktails; maintain an expert knowledge of spirits, wine, and local craft beers.
Guest Connection: Create unique experiences through storytelling and personalized recommendations in a warm, professional manner.
The Setup: Maintain a meticulously clean, organized, and well-stocked bar; prepare fresh garnishes and manage inventory levels.
Operational Excellence: Execute flawless cash handling, adhere to all state alcohol service (TIPS) guidelines, and master our POS systems.
Experienced: Minimum 1 year of bartending experience (upscale or fine dining preferred).
Certified: Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Mobile County Health Department Beverage/Food Handler's certification.
Dynamic: A positive, upbeat personality with the ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining extreme attention to detail.
Knowledgeable: Well-versed in food safety, proper garnishing, and the "why" behind every ingredient.
Resilient: Able to stand/walk for an 8-hour shift, lift up to 75 lbs (kegs/cases), and work a flexible schedule including afternoons, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
