First Mid Bank & Trust in Mahomet, IL is seeking a Part-Time Universal Banker/Teller I to provide quality service and support banking needs, including deposits, withdrawals, and basic account services. The role emphasizes accurate cash handling and adherence to bank policies, with opportunities to participate in promotions and community events.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience in a financial setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience and/or previous experience working in a financial institution preferred.
• Previous sales experience preferred.
• Successfully completes required compliance and First Mid training curriculum to be proficient in the basic account opening process.

Responsabilités

• Create a quality service experience by ensuring timely resolution to customer needs and overall customer satisfaction.
• Abides by company service standards, including greeting customers and making them feel welcome to First Mid Bank & Trust.
• Proficiently service customers by accepting and processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency within policy guidelines including deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing, issuing cashier's checks, and additional transactions upon request.
• Gain manager assistance with any suspicious transactions.
• Open accounts including but not limited to checking, savings, safe deposit box, basic business related, etc.
• Performs changes to existing accounts as requested by the customer.
• Maintains professional appearance and conduct within the guidelines set forth in Employee Handbook.
