Job summary

BankFive is seeking a Universal Banker (FLOAT) in Fall River, MA for a 30-hour part-time schedule. You will support branch management, assist with teller operations, and help grow customer relationships through cross-sell opportunities.

The role emphasizes delivering world-class service, meeting sales goals, and mentoring tellers when needed. This position requires flexibility for a floating assignment across branches.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business or related area is preferred; High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two of progressive retail banking experience preferred; Bank experience is required.
• NMLS registration or eligibility for registration is required.
• Proven experience in customer service, sales/business development and problem solving skills required.
• Ability to use various office equipment including computer terminal; Intermediate Microsoft Office skills preferred; knowledge of banking platform programs required.
• Notary public eligibility required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational integrity and risk management by ensuring that procedural requirements and processes are known and utilized.
• Meet established sales goals and acts as a leader in the branch.
• May provide guidance to tellers in complex customer transactions; may assist in training and coaching of tellers.
• When teller line volume warrants, provide assistance in daily teller activities to meet branch demands.
• Provide a supporting role ensuring platform team members to ensure customer service levels exceed expectations.
• Greet and interact with each customer and non-customer with world class service.
• Maintain and balance own cash drawer, daily ATM transactions, branch work and vault cash.
• Open new customer accounts and take loan applications; identify cross-sell opportunities to deepen relationships.
• Answer inquiries regarding bank products and services; assist customers with problem resolution.
