Job summary

Citi in New York is seeking an entry-level Universal Banker to support sales and service activities in coordination with the customer service team. You will help foster customer relationships and assist in basic account openings while ensuring service quality and compliance.

As part of the Branch Sales team, you will process transactions, refer opportunities to partners, and participate in seminars and campaigns to drive growth, with emphasis on accuracy and risk-awareness in every action.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers
• Provide service delivery to internal/external customers to resolve account service issues
• Execute financial transactions per bank policies and procedures
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate
• Create sales opportunities from service work and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively
• Support sales/service activities in the branch by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
• Adhere to operational controls to ensure safety and security of customer and bank assets
• Assess risk in decisions, ensure compliance with laws and Citi policies
