Job summary

Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a private behavioral healthcare center offering advanced behavioral health services for adults, adolescents, and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. The Unit Coordinator will handle clerical functions of the nursing unit to support patient care in a part-time role (24 hours/week) with a 6:45 pm – 3:15 pm shift and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR & 1st Aid certification required.
• One year experience with a psychiatric patient population and previous secretarial experience preferred.
• Ability to manage clerical functions on a nursing unit.

Responsibilities

• Manage the clerical functions of the nursing unit to support patient care.
• Assist in direct care and management of patients as directed by the treatment team.
• Assist with unit programming to facilitate therapy issues, activities of daily living.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and time management.
