Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of verifiable journeyman electrician experience within the past ten (10) years.
• Demonstrated union electrical experience (e.g., IBEW).
• Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical safety standards.
• Ability to deliver instruction and support diverse learners.
• Proficiency with computers and learning-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and laboratory instruction in electrical theory, code, and hands-on skills.
• Teach industry-standard and union-aligned practices including safety and tool usage.
• Create an inclusive learning environment and support diverse learners entering electrical trades.
• Assess student learning and provide timely feedback on academic and technical progress.
• Maintain records related to attendance, grades, and competencies.
• Prepare instructional materials and ensure tools and equipment are available and safe.
