Job summary

Facility Solutions Group, Inc. is hiring a part-time Craft Electrical instructor to teach Electric Worker courses at varying times. The role is contingent upon the needs of the education program, and instructors may work approximately 18 to 24 hours each week.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, four years of Electrician's experience, and a Journeyman credential, along with NCCER Instructor certification. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of documented Electrician's experience at the journeyman level.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a certified teacher in a vocational/technical training program.
• Willing to complete NCCER Instructor Certification Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Electric Worker courses at various times.
• Develops and implements course syllabi.
• Evaluates student progress.

Skills

Knowledge of Electrical Worker trade

Mastery of NCCER electrical course content

Skills in project leadership

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Familiarity with MS Office software

Strong communication and computer skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Electrical Worker Journeyman credential

NCCER Instructor certification
