Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Menlo Park, CA to monitor assigned areas, deter incidents and provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; guard card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused location while following site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; document observations per site policy.
• Maintain professional presence and communicate with site personnel and leadership.
