Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Incident Response Security Officer in Aquasco, MD. This part-time role involves patrolling a utilities site, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to incidents to deter security threats.

The position requires at least two years in security, supervisory experience, and a valid guard card or license where applicable. You must be 21+ with a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to follow site protocols.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, and suspicious activity to site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
