Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part Time Unarmed Credential Patrol Security Officer in Chesapeake, VA. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access, and deliver customer service at a technology-focused location.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, completing shift reports, and supporting site procedures. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with an emphasis on safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening required by company policy.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality; valid driver's license for driving positions may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while following site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeters to identify hazards and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures; report access issues.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; follow escalation and reporting procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and shift reports for leadership and site representatives.
