Allied Universal in Nashville, TN is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard for unarmed patrol duties at a government location. You will provide courteous customer service to visitors and staff while maintaining a visible security presence and following site procedures.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, responding to incidents calmly, performing routine patrols of offices and perimeters, and documenting observations for site leaders.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• 18+ years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of activity in public and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of government offices, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
