Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer in Birmingham, AL to provide dependable site coverage and assist patients, visitors and staff with security procedures. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform, enabling higher earnings while gaining hands-on experience at multiple sites.

Pay is $13.24 per hour, with daytime hours 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, and a background check is

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors per security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly per location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of clinic areas, entrances, parking areas and perimeter.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and reporting unusual activity.
• Document incidents, observations and patrol activity accurately and communicate to leadership.
