Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed, Driving Badge Patrol) in Durham, NC. This role focuses on protecting clients, performing patrols, and utilizing badge and access control procedures while delivering excellent customer service.

The position requires a valid driver's license, basic computer use, and compliance with background checks and drug screening. Hours are daytime with a Friday-Saturday pattern typical of the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
