Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Guard in Durham, NC to patrol and protect commercial real estate locations. The role involves vehicle patrols, visible presence, and responding to site needs with professionalism. A valid driver’s license is required; CPR certification is preferred.

The schedule includes weekend shifts, offering flexibility and opportunities to earn extra shifts through our platform. Pay rate is $15.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property representatives by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
