Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Durham, NC. The role involves driving patrols for commercial real estate and providing excellent tenant and visitor service while maintaining a visible security presence.

You will perform routine security tasks, respond professionally to incidents, and document activities while complying with company policies. A valid driver’s license is required; CPR is preferred and background checks and drug screening may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing depends on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property representatives by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property buildings, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting issues per site procedures.
• Document patrols and incidents in required reports and communicate with site contacts and leadership.
