Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in South Chesterfield, VA. You will patrol a logistics and distribution site, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service while upholding client policies.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and availability for a Part Time schedule with afternoon shifts. Training and growth opportunities are offered by Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, drivers, and vendors per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations and notify site contacts or emergency services.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, unsecured doors or gates, and potential security concerns while supporting personnel and freight operations.
