Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Meridian, MS to patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service. You will support access control and alarm responses while upholding Allied Universal’s culture of integrity and reliability.

The role emphasizes flexible day-time shifts, a visible presence, and collaboration with tenants, vendors, and property management teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff while following site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the property and surrounding areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report concerns and document observations.
• Maintain a professional presence and clear communication with clients and personnel.
