Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time) for Verona, MS. You will patrol and safeguard clients, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a visible security presence at a manufacturing and industrial site.

Position offers flexible scheduling via the Claim a Shift platform. Pay rate is $10.15 per hour, with duties including access control, incident reporting, and professional communication with staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements as per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior production areas and exterior grounds.
• Monitor access and verify credentials; document visitor activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms with calm, clear communication.
• Prepare daily activity reports and incident documentation.
