Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Meridian, ID. This role offers reliable, fixed hours with opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will serve visitors and staff, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with directing visitors and providing information while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
