Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol CPR Certification in Sterling, VA. You will provide customer service, perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while upholding site protocols and a welcoming environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with CPR certification preferred and a driver’s license for driving positions. The pay rate is $23.11 per hour, with daytime shifts listed.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a dynamic technology and media location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and security-related systems, reporting irregularities and following established escalation procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
