Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Unarmed Part Time Patrols in Newtown, PA. The role involves patrolling a technology and media location, monitoring entrances, and delivering excellent customer service to on-site staff and clients.

Earn $20.00 per hour with a flexible daytime schedule: Fri 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Sat 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Sun 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Training and career growth opportunities are provided, along with benefits through our perks program.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and engaging in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter areas within a technology and media location to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical access points, reporting any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Communicate clearly with team members and site staff to relay important information and updates as needed.
Document observations and/or incidents according to company and site protocols.
