Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer - Unarmed in West Columbia, SC. You will patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, support access control, and report events using on-site tablets while delivering professional customer service.

Minimum 2 years of security experience, high school diploma or equivalent; background check and drug screen required. Driving positions require a valid driver’s license. Pay rate is $17.51 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Background checks and drug screening are required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology location by enforcing site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns calmly and report through established channels.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with directions and reporting.
• Complete incident reports and patrol logs as required.
