Allied Universal in Arlington, VA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol/Alarm Investigation). You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, control access, respond to alarms, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors while upholding our values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen as part of employment process.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology office by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
