Allied Universal Security is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Tablet Patrol Security Officer in Raleigh, NC. You will provide customer service, monitor government facilities, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

Schedule includes daytime hours with mixed shifts, using a tablet-based shift-claim platform. The role requires minimum age 18 for unarmed work, a high school diploma, and compliance with background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government facility.
• Respond to incidents calmly, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation per site requirements.
