Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Raleigh, NC to monitor and protect government facilities and staff. You will perform unarmed patrols, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service, while following site procedures and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and track visitor/contractor activity per site procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergencies and notify appropriate personnel or responders as required.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activities promptly and in accordance with Allied Universal reporting requirements.
