Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time, unarmed patrol and customer support at a residential location in Seattle, WA. You will maintain a visible presence, handle incidents, and provide professional service to residents and visitors.

The role requires at least 2 years of security experience, HS diploma, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening. The schedule includes night shifts, primarily Thursday to Saturday across 6 PM–6 AM blocks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, document observations, and report incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear activity reports and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
