Job summary

Allied Universal in Herndon, VA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) to patrol a commercial real estate site, monitor access points, and provide courteous service to employees, tenants, and visitors.

You will use a tablet to document activities, report incidents, and follow site procedures while maintaining a professional presence. Candidates should be 18+ with a high school diploma and be eligible for background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with using tablets/computers for documenting activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, tenants, visitors and vendors per site policies.
• Conduct regular patrols of the office spaces, common areas, parking areas and perimeter to detect unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and assist with access control.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following escalation procedures.
• Complete activity logs and shift documentation and communicate updates to site contacts.
