Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed) at our Disputanta, VA site. The role involves patrolling, monitoring access, and delivering excellent customer service while using computer or tablet systems. Schedule includes daytime and evening shifts with pay rate of $17.51 per hour.

You will deter security issues, maintain a visible presence, and complete shift reports with professionalism. A high school diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, and perimeters to deter incidents.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and vehicle authorization.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations and document actions taken.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports and communicate handoffs professionally.
