Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Site Patrol in Monaca, PA to monitor assigned areas and provide a visible, customer-focused security presence at a chemical and petrochemical location.

The role offers flexible Part Time shifts with a required valid driver’s license for the site. Pay rate is $17.10 per hour, with opportunities for training and growth. Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Prior access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders in accordance with established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain required logs, and direct personnel, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns accurately; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.
