Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Guard for a part-time role in Erie, PA. You will monitor access, conduct patrols, and deliver customer-focused security services to employees and visitors at an automotive manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report observations through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Assist with traffic flow, delivery vehicle coordination, and adherence to site-specific policies within an automotive manufacturing environment.
