Job summary

Allied Universal in Warren, MI seeks a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Control Systems to protect client sites across manufacturing and industrial facilities. You will monitor areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and respond to security concerns while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols in manufacturing, industrial facilities, and surrounding areas.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify authorisation, and maintain logs and reports.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and alarms; notify site contacts and responders as needed.
• Observe operations and report hazards or issues to deter unauthorized activity.
