Job summary

Allied Universal in Reading, PA is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Security Rounds to safeguard clients across industries. This role offers flexible scheduling, including overnight shifts, with pay rate $14.50 per hour.

You will perform patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents in accordance with site policies. Minimum six months security experience and customer service background are preferred, with a HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Six months of security-related experience.
• Proficiency using computers or tablets.
• Previous customer service experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access, verify visitor/contractor entry, and document observations and patrol activity.
• Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership about security concerns and changes.
