Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Exterior Security in Philadelphia, PA. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings. Pay rate is $16.25 per hour, with a six-month anchor shift commitment.

You will provide customer service to visitors and staff, conduct unarmed patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and document observations for site leadership.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, vendors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, staff spaces, entrances, exits, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor visitor activity and access points, assist with wayfinding and museum policies, and report unusual conditions or damaged property to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional manner and follow site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
