Job summary

Allied Universal in Reading, PA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Property Observation to provide reliable coverage with fixed shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform. The role pays $16.50 per hour and requires at least six months of security experience and customer service skills.

You will patrol facilities, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and document activities in reports.

Qualifications

• Six months of security-related experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred and beneficial.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and perform security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vehicle activity.
• Document patrols and incidents in required reports and communicate with leadership.
