Job summary

Allied Universal in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Security Officer Licensed Patrol Driver for a part-time role. You will patrol financial institution sites, maintain a visible security presence, and deliver excellent customer service while following site policies and procedures.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and offers a weekend schedule with pay rate of $24.31 per hour. Must be 18+ for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and escalate concerns as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of financial institution facilities, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity per site policies; report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols and incidents, maintaining professional communication with client representatives and local authorities.
