Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal, state, local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws; may be required.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public at a government transportation location by following site procedures and security policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; identify unusual activity and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas; verify authorized entry and report access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify supervisors or responders as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs of patrols and interactions with the public.
