Job summary

Allied Universal in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) to join our team. You will patrol the facility, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding site policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with employees, visitors and contractors.
• Experience with access control and badge procedures is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal and applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and delivery personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of the facility.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and visitor procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, controlled manner.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and maintain professional environment.
