Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced at a New York, NY site. This role offers flexible day and night shifts with fixed anchor shifts and additional on-demand shifts via a scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour, with opportunities to earn more through extra shifts. Ideal candidates have at least one year of security experience, basic access-control knowledge, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/license is preferred.
• 18+ years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and observe activity to protect personnel, property, and operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalates concerns per procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas to identify security concerns.
• Complete accurate activity logs and documentation while communicating with site contacts and leadership.
