Allied Universal in New York, NY is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable, unarmed security coverage with fixed shifts at a designated site.

This role offers 17.00 USD per hour with flexible day and night schedules and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform, helping you grow hours toward a full-time schedule if desired.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor and contractor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalates concerns as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of trading, office, lobby, and perimeter areas.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity logs and communicate with site personnel and leadership.
