Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Route Review in Houston, TX. This flexible role offers fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform, designed for income stability and potential progression.

Pay rate is $17.04 per hour with a schedule that includes DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM. Minimum requirements include one year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid Guard

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate relevant observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
